The FPRA Golden Image Awards competition is conducted annually to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in the state.  Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design.

In mid-August 2008, ARS/Rescue Rooter launched ARS/Rescue Rooter Home Connect, an online resource center for information, answers and interactive advice about air conditioning, heating, plumbing and drain maintenance.  Not only can consumers search for answers, they can even email HVAC and plumbing experts their own unique questions to be answered.

ARS / Rescue Rooter Home Connect received an FPRA Golden Image Award of Distinction, that is presented to entries that meet the standard of excellence within a certain category as set by a panel of judges..
