MEMPHIS, Tenn. (June 22, 2009) -- Continuing to invest in and grow the company, national HVAC and plumbing service provider ARS / Rescue Rooter has added two home service industry veterans to its senior leadership team.  Paul Anderegg has joined ARS / Rescue Rooter as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and John Hayes as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. 

“Combined, Paul and John have more than 60 years of experience working with consumer and home service brands and are key editions to our senior leadership team,” said Dave Slott, ARS / Rescue Rooter president and chief operating officer.  “Since purchasing the company in 2006, we have expanded to more than 60 locations across 25 states.  Bringing in major talent to augment our strong existing team, combined with a strategy of growth through both acquisitions and natural expansion, is key to our continued development and diversification plans.”

In his new role as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Anderegg oversees all sales and marketing activities nationwide, while focusing on growing service footprints in existing markets and continuing to build the ARS / Rescue Rooter brand.  Prior to joining ARS / Rescue Rooter, Anderegg was the Chief Executive Officer / Board Member for EcoSMART Technologies Inc., a world leader in safe, natural pesticide products.  In this role he oversaw the revamping of the company’s market segment focus areas and sales force, while introducing new multiple branded products and selling a retail brand strategy to Wal-Mart.  His additional recent experience includes serving as the President of Angelica Textile Services, a dominant leader in textile rental and laundry services, and as Vice President, Sales & Marketing for The TruGreen Companies, managing a national sales force of 3,200 and introducing new service lines for this national lawn care company.  Anderegg holds an MBA in Marketing from Western Michigan University, and a B.A. in English / Economics from Michigan State University.  He is active in Junior Achievement, serving as a volunteer board member.

Hayes, in his new role as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, oversees all acquisition and corporate expansion activities.  With more than 20 years of prior home service industry experience, Hayes was most recently the President and Chief Executive Officer of SunAir Services Inc., a top provider of pest control and lawn care services.  Additionally, Hayes is the former Executive Vice President of The TruGreen Companies, a $1 billion division of The ServiceMaster Company.  Hayes also served in various private investor capacities, receiving his J.D. from the University of Detroit and his B.S. from Michigan State University.
