• My Heatmaker model has been discontinued.

I had a Heatmaker HW130 in my home for heat and hot water. I understand this model has been discontinued.  Is there an equivalent replacement unit available on the market and what would the price of that unit be?

Heatmaker is a brand of boiler that does both radiant heat as well as domestic hot water heating. I checked the Heatmaker web site and they still list the HW series as being available to purchase as a new unit or for parts. There are however a lot of boiler companies out there such as Weil McClain, Lockinvar, Carrier, Bryant and Trane that can do the same thing, but may require extra items such as a domestic hot water tank. It would be hard to quote you a price without seeing what is involved and which brand and/or unit best fits your application. I would recommend you contact a couple of local HVAC companies and schedule an appointment for one of their comfort consultants to give you an estimate. Most companies do not charge for an estimate and then you can review all your options with them.
