The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge went viral on social media across the country this summer. Ordinary people, companies, celebrities, and even politicians were involved in raising awareness for ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), better known as Lou Gherig’s disease. It is a devastating disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord and severely hinders voluntary muscle movement. There is so much research to be done to find a cure for this complex disease, and the Ice Bucket Challenge raised some much needed awareness and funding.

Happy Halloween from the ARS / Rescue Rooter Corporate office! We had a lot of fun this year. Each department chose a theme and went all out to see who could win the award for the best Halloween décor. The fun and creativity of each department made for an extra special Halloween this year. We had everything from a Haunted Insane Asylum to Alice in Wonderland. Most of these decorations went up on Thursday afternoon to get ready for Halloween the next day, so the offices were completely transformed overnight.
