ARS is the first Global Partner for Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, an unforgettable prom experience for people with special needs. This annual, global event takes place on Valentine’s Day weekend. In 2017, Night to Shine was hosted by over 375 churches in all 50 states and 11 countries. In 2017, over 500 ARS employees volunteered in 60 churches across the nation. ARS is committed to supporting this movement well into the future.
In 2017, ARS and Conway Services sponsored the Youth Summer Camp. In the past they have also sponsored four bike repair stations within Shelby Farms Park trail network and the Greenline. We also sponsor events at Shelby Farms such as Spooky Nights, Starry Nights, Dog A Roo, Earth Day Celebrations, and the Greenline Half Marathon.
ARS and Conway Services are presenting sponsors of these all-star games. The event is held annually each December following the conclusion of the high school football season. It features the top high school student-athletes from TSSAA sanctioned high schools in the Memphis metropolitan area. ARS also sponsored the Bowl Buddies program, which provided bowl game tickets to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patients and their families.
Since 2011, ARS and Conway Services have sponsored fundraising programs such as the Golf Classic, Promise Ball, and the One Walk, benefiting the JDRF West TN Chapter. In 2016, we were the presenting sponsor of the Conway Services Charity Classic designed to raise money to find a cure for type-1 juvenile diabetes.
Since 2007, ARS has participated in Education That Works at Memphis Catholic. This is a corporate internship program that offers students from low-income families a quality education and real-life work experience that are designed to prepare them for college and successful careers thereafter. Since the beginning of the sponsorship, ARS has mentored over 35 high school students, 18 of whom have already graduated Memphis Catholic, and the rest of whom are in the program currently or have transferred schools. MCS has a 98% college acceptance rate. It helps reduce the cost of hiring temporary staff, but more importantly it helps support and mentor local students.
Since 2011, ARS / Rescue Rooter has been a charter partner of the LPBC, a privately-funded catalyst for the Mid-South, comprised of a team of partner businesses that are combining forces and funds to host an array of media and more than 150 events each year to enrich and impact the community. Every year, we sponsor one Signature Breakfast featuring a guest speaker, such as Lee Trevino and Daniel Sieberg. Take a look at the Goodworks article written about ARS / Conway Services.
Since 2011, ARS and Conway Services have sponsored the Germantown Charity Horse Show, benefiting the Exchange Club Family Center, an organization that helps prevent child abuse and neglect. Most of those years, we have been a Blue Ribbon Sponsor, including a title sponsorship of The Grand Prix. The equestrian competition showcases multiple breeds of show horses; it’s part sporting event, part festival.

The term “rooter service” comes from the problem this service is meant to address: tree root invasions blocking sewer or plumbing lines. While the original design for the rooter machine is no longer used, its conception has led to several effective drain-cleaning tools and techniques still in use today.CONTINUE READING
